about

this is a concept album i started writing probably around 2002 about a guy who volunteers to be a test subject in an experimental cure for loneliness, which is a robot girlfriend, but really the robot girlfriend is mind control / surveillance tech, and everyboy dies in the end.

recorded in the summer of 2004.

released August 30, 2004

brian arnold recorded this with me, mostly in my basement, in his basement for a few songs. andrew esposito played drums on "the trial." michael angelakos loaned me some instruments and equipment, including a tape recorder which i broke by screaming into it (sorry). it was performed live once, at kitchen distribution in buffalo, new york, probably in or around the summer of 2005, by me, michael angelakos, colin pratt, and roddy potter. garret harkawik wrote the song "robot love" and was involved in planning the concept and the storyline. neal koch made some really cool artwork that hopefully i haven't lost.
